      Matt Smith and Richard King started building together in the winter of  2003.  In the spring of 2004 Matt and Richard broke ground on their first spec house.  Business quickly picked up and Brookstone Builders Inc. became official in the fall of 2004.  From there the business has continued to grow as they have continued to hone their craft.  After adding new employees and finishing their first multi-family home project in 2007 they have  established themselves as one of the premier construction companies in the Black Mountain/Asheville area.
